Privacy Policy
Last updated 29 September 2026
The short version
- We collect what you give us (your name, email, business details and message) so we can reply and do the work you ask for.
- When we build automations, we work inside your accounts. We only access what the job needs, and you can switch our access off at any time.
- We don't sell your information, and we don't send marketing unless you ask for it.
- Questions or requests: hello@knockoffearly.com.au.
1. Who we are
Knock Off Early AI Automation ("Knock Off Early", "we", "us") is a business name of SEAL Logistics Pty Ltd (ABN 30 642 359 519), based in Brisbane, Queensland. This policy explains how we handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). It covers this website and the services we provide.
2. What we collect
When you contact us or book a call: your name, email address, business name, industry, and anything you tell us about your business in your message, on a call or by email.
When you become a client: the contact and billing details we need to quote, invoice and communicate with you, and notes about your business processes from the Time Audit.
While we build or look after an automation: to do the work, we may see information held in your business systems, such as emails, invoices, supplier and customer details, and records in your accounting or job software. That information can include personal information about your customers, staff or suppliers. We treat it as set out in section 5.
When you visit the website: our host keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers. If we switch on advertising measurement (for example the Meta Pixel), we will update this policy before we do.
You can contact us without giving your real name, but we may not be able to quote or provide services that way.
3. How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange your free call.
- To prepare quotes, deliver the Time Audit, build and maintain automations, and invoice you.
- To keep records we are required to keep, such as tax records.
- To keep the website secure and working.
We don't use your information for anything unrelated to these purposes without your consent, unless the law requires or allows it.
4. Marketing
We only send marketing emails if you have asked to receive them, and every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe. Replying to your own enquiry is not marketing.
5. Your business data during client work
- We work inside your accounts. Automations are built in software you own and control. We use logins or access you give us, and we ask for the narrowest access that does the job.
- We only use your data to do your work. We don't copy it into our own systems except where a task genuinely needs it (for example, a sample invoice to test against), and we delete those copies when they are no longer needed.
- AI services. Automations may send parts of your data to an AI service (such as Anthropic's Claude) or to other software providers you use, so the automation can read, sort or draft. Before anything is switched on, we tell you which services are involved and what they will see. Some of these providers are based overseas, mainly in the United States.
- You can switch it off. You can revoke our access at any time. When an engagement ends, we hand everything over and remove our own access.
6. Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent personal information. We share it only with:
- service providers that help us run the business, such as our website host (Vercel), our email provider (Microsoft) and our accounting software (QuickBooks);
- AI and software providers used inside an automation, as described in section 5;
- our professional advisers (such as our accountant or lawyer), under confidentiality;
- anyone we are required or authorised by law to disclose it to.
7. Overseas disclosure
Some of the providers above store or process information outside Australia, mainly in the United States. We choose established providers with published security and privacy commitments, and we take reasonable steps to make sure they handle your information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
8. Keeping it secure
We use strong passwords, two-factor authentication where it's available, and access limited to what each task needs. We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires (for example, tax records are kept for five years), and then delete or de-identify it.
If a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we will tell you and, where required, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
9. Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing hello@knockoffearly.com.au. We will respond within 30 days. If we can't give you access, we'll explain why.
10. Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please email us first and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're still not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
